Dr. Devon Watson completed her bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia and graduated Summa Cum Laude. She attended the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry where she obtained her Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree. Dr. Watson then practiced general dentistry in the Atlanta area but ultimately decided that endodontics was her passion. She completed her post-doctorate endodontics degree from Georgia Regents University in Augusta, Georgia. Her research on calcium aluminosilicate cements has been published in the Scientific Reports journal.
Dr. Watson is board eligible and is an active member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Endodontics and the Georgia Association of Endodontists. She is committed to continued education to offer the latest technological and clinical advancements to her patients. Dr. Watson is dedicated to providing the highest quality endodontic treatment while focusing on alleviating her patients’ pain and fear.
She is pleased to serve back home in Atlanta and enjoys running, cooking, watching movies, reading and spending quality time with friends and family.
Dr. Shahriari completed his undergraduate training at Emory University with a BS in biology. After receiving his Masters in Public Health from Emory University in Epidemiology and International Health, Dr. Shahriari worked for the CDC for three years. He also served as a consultant to the World Health Organization for eradication of the polio virus in Bihar, India. He received his DMD from the University of Pennsylvania with multiple awards for his research and volunteer work in Songea, Tanzania. He received his specialty certification in oral and maxillofacial surgery from Emory University.
As a result of his extensive research and academic interests, Dr. Shahriari has presented multiple articles at national and international meetings. He is actively engaged in research projects involving different aspects of maxillofacial surgery. He speaks three languages (English, Spanish and Persian) and believes that the most important and rewarding part of his work is the care of his patients. His philosophy is to approach treatment through the perspective of the patient, emphasizing that good communication is essential for exceptional care and a trusting, long-lasting relationship.
Outside of his professional life, Dr. Shahriari enjoys traveling, swimming and losing ping pong matches to Dr. Toub. Most importantly, Dr. Shahriari enjoys spending time with his family.
Dr. Ajay Ganti is a dual degree oral and maxillofacial surgeon who practices full scope oral and maxillofacial surgery. Dr. Ganti earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Columbia University’s College of Dental Medicine. He then matriculated into the Emory University School of Medicine, where he earned his Doctor of Medicine degree (MD). Dr. Ganti completed his surgical residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Emory University Hospital, with advanced training in dentoalveolar surgery, dental implants, bone grafting, facial trauma, orthognathic surgery and reconstructive surgery. In addition, he completed a General Surgery internship within the Emory University Department of Surgery.
After residency, he completed a fellowship with internationally renowned surgeon, Dr. Pat Ricalde. Under her mentorship and guidance, Dr. Ganti received advanced training in the management of patients with craniofacial deformities, cleft lip, and cleft palate. His passion to provide care to those who are less fortunate has led him to mission trips to Jamaica and Bangladesh. Dr. Ganti has hospital staff privileges at Gwinnett Medical Center and Northside Hospital.
Out of the office, Dr. Ganti enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, running, playing golf and tennis.
